Two plots of land with a total area of 89.1 square meters have been returned to the Ijevan community in Armenia’s Tavush Province

Arminfo.  Two properties with a total area of 89.1 square meters, located in the administrative building of the village of Yenokavan, have been returned to the Ijevan community of Armenia’s Tavush Province. This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia.

The statement emphasizes that, within the scope of its authority to file lawsuits in defense of state (community) interests, on August 3, 2026, the Tavush Regional Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit with the Anti-Corruption Court against the legal successor of the Yenokavan community and an individual, demanding that the auction sales held on May 10, 2017, be declared invalid and that the resulting consequences be eliminated. During the proceedings, a settlement agreement was proposed, which was approved by a court decision dated August 21, 2026.

Based on the settlement agreement approved by the court and having entered into force, on September 11 and 14, 2026, the Ijevan community’s ownership rights to properties with areas of 63.4 square meters and 25.7 square meters were registered.
