



ArmInfo. A meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has begun in Yerevan.
Taking part in the meeting are the chairman of the fund’s Board of Trustees, RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Chairman of the RA National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan, Head of the RA Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan, members of the government and the Board of Trustees, and other officials.
Addressing the participants of the meeting, the RA president noted that representatives of the diaspora are also taking part in the event. A total of 20 members of the Board of Trustees are participating in the meeting, 8 of them remotely.
It should be noted that the meeting itself is being held behind closed doors. Journalists were admitted only to the opening ceremony of the event.
It should be recalled that the Fund was established in 1992 by decree of Armenian President Levon Ter-Petrosyan. It is managed by a Board of Trustees headed by the incumbent president of Armenia, as well as by an executive committee. It has 19 branches and partner organizations engaged in fundraising and located in the United States, Canada, Argentina, Uruguay, Australia, Europe, Armenia, Lebanon and Cyprus. It holds charitable telethons in Los Angeles (since 1996), as well as in Europe, Argentina and Uruguay. The Fund has implemented more than 1,500 projects.
