



ArmInfo. As a result of the prosecutor’s intervention, the 10th land plot located in the “May 28” Park of the Sisian community has been returned to community ownership. This was reported by the press service of the supervisory body.
The statement notes that the Syunik Regional Prosecutor’s Office, within the scope of its authority to protect state (community) interests, examined documents concerning the allocation of land plots located in the “May 28” Park in the city of Sisian to various individuals. As a result of the examination, it was
established that a 0.03-hectare land plot located at 2/1 Sisakan Street, in the “May 28” Park of the city of Sisian, had been allocated to an individual with the right to build in violation of legal requirements. The Prosecutor’s Office submitted a petition to the head of the Sisian community to take measures to terminate the agreement on the right to development concluded between the Sisian community and the developer on June 13, 2011.
Based on the petition, as a result of measures taken by the competent authorities of the Sisian municipality, the Cadastre Committee terminated the registered development right for the land plot, whose cadastral value was 563 thousand drams, approximately corresponding to its market value. The land plot was returned to the ownership of the Sisian community.
It should be noted that the park of the Sisian community covers an area of 9595.68 square meters, where land plots were allocated to 17 individuals under agreements granting the right to development. As a result of the prosecutor’s intervention, to date, 10 land plots with a total area of 5234.48 square meters, allocated to 8 individuals, have been returned to the Sisian community. Work on returning to the community 10 land plots allocated to 9 individuals is ongoing.
