ArmInfo. As part of a working visit to Poland, First Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces (AF), Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, met with Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, General Wiesław Kukula.

According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, during the meeting, issues related to the development and expansion of cooperation between the armed forces of Armenia and Poland, as well as a number of areas of mutual interest, were discussed.

According to the source, Armenian Ambassador to Poland Alexander Arzumanyan was also present at the meeting.

It should be noted that on September 11, the Armenian government approved the ratification of the agreement on military-technical cooperation between the defense ministries of the two countries. The Agreement on Military-Technical Cooperation between the Ministry of Defense of Armenia and the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Poland was signed on February 26, 2026, in Warsaw. Its purpose is to establish the basic principles and procedures for cooperation between the parties in the military-technical sphere, according to which Yerevan and Warsaw will cooperate based on the principles of equality, mutual respect, and mutual benefit. Ratification of the agreement aims to further strengthen existing friendly relations and deepen cooperation on a lasting and long-term basis by expanding military-technical cooperation.
