According to a statement from the press service of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, the telephone conversation addressed current issues concerning the further development of Uzbek-Armenian relations, primarily in the trade, economic and investment spheres. In this context, the importance of developing new joint industrial cooperation projects was particularly noted.
Mirziyoyev advocated strengthening connectivity by developing logistics and transport corridors linking the regions of Central Asia and the South Caucasus.
The President of Uzbekistan highly praised the efforts to conclude a peace agreement as soon as possible, which will serve as a solid foundation for regional stability and sustainable development.
The schedule of bilateral and multilateral events was also reviewed, including those held within the framework of the United Nations and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
