As reported by the press office of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC), during the meeting Khachatryan told the Catholicos of All Armenians about the association’s activities in the areas of healthcare and humanitarian assistance in Armenia, touching in particular on programs aimed at ensuring access to medical services in border communities of Tavush Province and retraining medical workers.
Garegin II highly praised the assistance provided to socially disadvantaged Armenians with health problems in border settlements, as well as to Armenia’s medical institutions. His Holiness also emphasized the importance of exchanging professional knowledge and experience with Armenian colleagues, noting that this would contribute to the development of Armenia’s healthcare sector and improve the quality of medical care provided to the population.
The Catholicos of All Armenians also expressed his gratitude to the members of the delegation, the friendly people of France, and all the organizations and individuals with whose assistance the association’s humanitarian programs are being implemented. At the conclusion of the meeting, Garegin II blessed the “French Light” association and the doctors present, wishing them a successful mission and further success in their humanitarian and medical service.
It should be noted that the “French Light” association is a French-Armenian charitable and medical organization. It was founded in February 2021 to provide long-term humanitarian, social, and medical assistance in Armenia.
