Ministry of Health specialists found no discrepancies in the quality of water in the Buregaven community

ArmInfo. Specialists from the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health did not record any discrepancies in the quality of water in the Byureghavan community. This is stated in a Center statement.

According to the source, on the evening of September 6, residents of the community sought medical assistance with complaints typical of intestinal infections. On the morning of September 7, specialists from the Center collected samples. Biological samples of drinking water and from patients were taken for further laboratory testing. Drinking water sampling was carried out in 2 stages: in the morning, 16 drinking water samples and 25 biological samples were collected, and in the evening of the same day - 19 more drinking water samples. At present, no discrepancies have been recorded in any of the collected drinking water samples. No infectious pathogens were detected in the 25 biological samples examined.

"The epidemiological investigation is ongoing. Sampling for monitoring purposes will continue. The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention is monitoring the situation. Additional information will be provided if necessary",- the Center's statement says.

It should be noted that, according to the latest data, 9 patients are undergoing inpatient treatment, while 13 are receiving outpatient treatment.
