



ArmInfo. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi received in Tehran Davoud Yaji, the new head of the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kapan, in southern Armenia. This was reported by the Telegram?channel of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
It is noted that Yaji presented his work plan for his new post before departing for Armenia.
Wishing the country's new consul general in Kapan success, Araghchi emphasized the importance of relations between Iran and Armenia within the framework of the good-neighbor policy and noted the need to deepen relations in all areas of interest to the parties, especially in the economic and consular spheres.
In his new post, he will replace Kapan's first consul general, Morteza Abedin Varamin, who began working in 2021.
