Armenia intends to deepen legal cooperation with Interpol

ArmInfo.  On September 9, as part of his official visit to the People’s Republic of China, during the 2026 World Conference on Cooperation in Public Security, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia Artur Poghosyan held a meeting with Interpol Secretary General Valdesi Urquiza.

During the meeting, as reported by the Investigative Committee’s press service, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening joint efforts to combat transnational crime and increasing the efficiency of the identification and extradition processes for persons under international monitoring.

Particular attention was paid to modern capabilities for the rapid and secure exchange of information between the agencies.

As a result of the meeting, a number of agreements were reached on further expanding cooperation and deepening legal cooperation.
