ArmInfo. The newly appointed Ambassador of France to Armenia, Florian Escudé, visited the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI), Escudé paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide by laying flowers at the Eternal Flame. The ambassador was accompanied by Acting Director of the AGMI Hrachya Tashchyan. “The Ambassador of France also toured the memorial complex and familiarized himself with the history and symbolism of the memorial commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide,” the AGMI summarized.
It should be recalled that Escudé replaced Olivier Decottignies, who served as Ambassador of France to Armenia from July 2023 until the summer of 2026.
