Khachatur Khachikyan has been appointed Chairman of the Nuclear Safety Regulatory Committee (NSRC) following a government decision.

ArmInfo. Khachatur Khachikyan has been appointed Chairman of the Nuclear Safety Regulatory Committee. The decision to appoint him was made at the RA government meeting on September 3.

"Guided by Part 2 of Article 9 of the Law on Public Service, the Government of the Republic of Armenia decides to appoint Khachatur Khachikyan as Chairman of the Nuclear Safety Regulatory Committee," the Cabinet's draft decision states.

It should be noted that until today, Khachatur Khachikyan served as First Deputy Chairman of the Committee, which carries out state regulation of the use of nuclear energy to ensure the safety of the population and personnel, protect the environment, and protect the security interests of the Republic of Armenia.
