Zakharova: Armenia`s likely introduction of visas with Russia will be a step against Yerevan itself

ArmInfo. Armenia's likely introduction of a visa regime for Russian citizens will be a move directed not against Moscow, but against Yerevan itself, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated at the Eastern Economic Forum.

"If Armenia suddenly introduces visas, it won't be doing it against us—it will be doing it against its own citizens," Zakharova told journalists, according to Russian media.

She emphasized that this decision will also affect Russian citizens who have a large number of relatives in Armenia.
