In connection with the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Artsakh on September 2, a series of events are planned through which the Artsakh people will reaffirm their right to identity. According to the source, at 10:00 AM, a visit to the Yerablur military pantheon will take place, where flowers will be laid at the Call of Artsakh memorial. At 4:00 PM, a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Artsakh will take place in the building of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Representation in Yerevan. In the evening, at 5:00 PM, a cultural program will be held in the courtyard of the representation with the participation of Artsakh ensembles. "We invite you to the evening to celebrate this historic date together," the Artsakh Information Headquarters summarized.
As a reminder, on September 2, 1991, based on the USSR Law "On the Procedure for Resolving Issues Related to the Secession of a Union Republic from the USSR," a joint session of deputies from all levels of the NKAO and the Shahumyan region proclaimed the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).
