Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed the latest developments in negotiations over the Strait of Hormuz and maintaining the ceasefire in a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. This was reported by Anadolu Agency, citing sources within the Turkish Foreign Ministry. No further details were provided.
It was also noted, that on August 17, Fidan also held separate phone calls with Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) President Nechirvan Barzani and KRG Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Monday, Foreign Ministry sources said.
