"There is no "Zangezur Corridor"  on  Armenian territory. There is   TRIPP project signed by  leaders of Azerbaijan, the United States,  and Armenia," says MP

ArmInfo. "You won't find the name 'Zangezur Corridor' in any signed documents, statements, and projects—at the level of political rhetoric, many can  say whatever they want," stated Arman Yeghoyan, MP from the ruling Civil Contract party, during a briefing on August 12. He was  commenting on the increasingly frequent statements regarding a "Zangezur Corridor" originating from Azerbaijan.

"We also say that no infrastructure under such a name  exist on  Armenian territory. On Armenian territory, there is the TRIPP  project, which bears the signatures of the President of Azerbaijan,  the President of the United States, and the Prime Minister of  Armenia," he noted. Yeghoyan also pointed out that this expression is  absent from subsequently signed documents as well.

Regarding the timeline for the infrastructure construction under  TRIPP, the parliamentarian noted that he had no specific information  on this matter, but he did report that work was proceeding at full  speed. "It's difficult to say when the first stone will be laid, but  everything is proceeding according to a normal, predictable  schedule," Eghoyan assured.
