


ArmInfo. Arayik Harutyunyan, a representative of Armenia's ruling Civil Contract party, has been relieved of his duties as Chief of Staff to the RA Prime Minister. The decision was signed by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. According to the government's press service, the administrative changes also included the dismissal of Deputy Chief of Staff Taron Chakhoyan and Press Secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan.
Harutyunyan has served as Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister since June 2021. He was elected to parliament in the June 7, 2026, parliamentary elections.
Nikol Pashinyan previously announced that former Armenian Ambassador to the United States Lilit Makunts would be appointed as the new Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister, and Melania Harutyunyan would become the new press secretary.
