ArmInfo. On July 31, the governments of Armenia and Montenegro signed an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the fields of education, science, and innovation.
The document was signed by Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, and Angela Jaksic-Stojanovic, Minister of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro.
According to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (ESCS), the agreement provides for the exchange of experience, the implementation of the principles of the Bologna Process, the encouragement of initiatives that contribute to the development of higher education in the European area, and the expansion of cooperation in the modernization of national education systems.
The parties agreed to foster direct ties between educational, scientific, and innovation institutions, advance academic mobility, and broaden joint participation in international educational and research programs. Welcoming the Minister of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro, Angela Jaksic Stojanovic, Zhanna Andreasyan emphasized the importance of developing bilateral cooperation, noting that the signed agreement creates a solid institutional foundation for a long-term partnership.
