Lawyer: Court transfers Armen Ashotyan to house arrest

ArmInfo. The Anticorruption  Court of Appeal of Armenia has replaced the preventive measure of  detention for Armen Ashotyan, Vice Chairman of the Republican Party  of Armenia (RPA), with house arrest.

As lawyer Ruben Melikyan reported on his Facebook page, the decision  will take effect today. "By the decision of the Anti-Corruption Court  of Appeals, the detention applied against Ashotyan has been replaced  by house arrest. The change in the regime of restriction of liberty  will take place today," the lawyer wrote.
