


ArmInfo. Armenian Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasova received the German Ambassador to Armenia, Claudia Busch.
According to the press service of the Ombudsman's Office, the parties discussed a range of key issues related to human rights protection, including safeguarding human rights in electoral processes, the application practices of pretrial detention, the rights of forcibly displaced persons and missing persons, and measures to combat hate speech, among other topics.
Manasyan expressed gratitude for the high level of cooperation established with the Ombudsman's institution, emphasizing the importance of a constructive bilateral dialogue in the field of human rights.
In turn, Ambassador Busch underscored the importance of continuing dialogue and cooperation to protect and advance human rights.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their readiness to pursue joint efforts in the sphere of human rights protection.
