ArmInfo. The French Embassy in Armenia has confirmed the poisoning of guests at a reception to mark Bastille Day.
"Guests attending the reception at the French Embassy to mark National Day on July 14, 2026, reported symptoms of food poisoning. The French Embassy sincerely apologizes to those who may have experienced inconvenience. We hope the cause of these symptoms can be determined," the diplomatic mission said in a statement. The French Embassy also emphasized that it has contacted the Armenian Ministry of Health.
"Those seeking assistance can contact us at the address below," the diplomatic mission added. Earlier, a number of Armenian media outlets reported receiving information about the poisoning of citizens at a reception at the French Embassy on July 14.
