


ArmInfo. During a meeting with a delegation led by Stefano Tomato, Managing Director of the Civilian Operations Headquarters of the European External Action
Service and Commander of the EU Civilian Missions, Armenian Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan praised the effective cooperation established between Armenia and the European Union.
According to the press service of the Armenian Interior Ministry, she also welcomed the decision of the EU Foreign Affairs Council to establish a new EU Partnership Mission in Armenia.
Sargsyan thanked her EU partners for their continued support, emphasizing its importance for developing the institutional capacity of the Ministry of Interior.
Tomato, in turn, emphasized the close partnership established with the Armenian Interior Ministry. The delegation members presented the objectives and key areas of activity of the EU Partnership Mission in Armenia, confirming their readiness to support the Ministry of Internal Affairs in various areas.
The parties discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation in combating cybercrime. Sargsyan presented the ministry's targeted work in this area and the results recorded.
The discussion covered issues related to disinformation, information interference, crisis management, and capacity development of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' 112 Operational Command Center. The parties exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
