Conference  "Armenian Political Prisoners in Azerbaijan and the  Imperative of EU Engagement" being held in Brussels

ArmInfo.On July 14, a conference "Armenian Political Prisoners in Azerbaijan and the Imperative of EU Engagement " is  taking place in Brussels, as  reported by the European Armenian  Federation for Justice and  Democracy (EAFJD).

The aim of the conference is to present an updated assessment of the  situation of Armenian hostages and political prisoners in Azerbaijan.  The conference is co-hosted by MEPs Costas Mavrides and Myriam  Lexman, and facilitated by the EAFJD.

Armen Ishkhanyan,  son of David Ishkhanyan, former Speaker of the  National Assembly of Artsakh, held hostage in Baky, is participating  in  the event.
