Regarding the future of outgoing National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan, Prime Minister Pashinyan addressed ongoing speculation by clarifying that Simonyan's political future is not in question. He noted that discussions are currently underway regarding the format of Simonyan's future involvement in the political landscape, promising that further details will be announced once formal decisions are reached.
Recall, on June 25, following the intra-party vote, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that current RA Vice Speaker Ruben Rubinyan had been elected as the candidate for Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. No other party appointments have been announced yet.
