Iranian president calls for comprehensive strengthening of relations  with Armenia

ArmInfo.  Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian published a message in Armenian, thanking Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for participating in the farewell  ceremony for the late Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

"I sincerely thank the esteemed Mr. Nikol Pashinyan and the  high-ranking delegation accompanying him for attending the farewell  ceremony and state funeral of the Supreme Leader, as well as for the  condolences expressed by the Honorable Prime Minister on behalf of  the people and government of the Republic of Armenia.

We will never forget this expression of goodwill. I hope that the  historical and friendly relations between the two great nations of  Iran and Armenia, which have always been based on mutual interests,  the principle of good neighborliness, and mutual respect, will  develop further.

Our martyred leader has always emphasized the importance of  strengthening relations with the Republic of Armenia and called  Armenia an 'honest neighbor.' Our policy is to comprehensively  strengthen and develop bilateral relations," the Iranian president  wrote on his Twitter page (X).
