ArmInfo. President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan has signed a series of decrees regarding high-level military appointments and personnel changes.
According to the decrees, Major General Garegin Poghosyan has been appointed Commander of the Special Forces Corps, having been relieved of his duties as Commander of the 2nd Army Corps.
Major General Simon Nazaryan has been appointed Commander of the 2nd Army Corps, having been relieved of his duties as Commander of the 3rd Army Corps. Colonel Artsrun Hovhannisyan has been appointed Head of the National Defense Research University of the Ministry of Defense. Armen Gyozalyan has been relieved of his post as Commander of the Special Operations Forces Corps.
