


ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) Seyed Hamid Pourmohammadi.
During the discussions, the parties reviewed the progress of initiatives aimed at developing Armenian- Iranian border infrastructure. Specifically, they addressed the construction of a second bridge and a new terminal, alongside efforts to enhance cooperation in customs procedures. Both sides underscored the importance of strengthening collaboration in the energy sector.
According to the government press office, the discussion also covered joint road construction projects and steps to further cooperation in agriculture, mining, infrastructure, and other key areas. Additionally, the parties exchanged views on the unblocking of regional communications and the new opportunities this presents. The Armenian Prime Minister emphasized the importance of strengthening peace and stability in the region, expressing his conviction that these efforts will facilitate the continued development of relations and cooperation throughout the region.
In turn, Seyed Hamid Pourmohammadi expressed his gratitude to the Armenian government for its stance toward Iran during challenging times, as well as for the humanitarian assistance provided.
