

ArmInfo. A meeting between the Ministers of Justice of Armenia and Russia, Srbuhi Galyan and Konstantin Chuychenko, took place on the sidelines of the 14th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum in St. Petersburg.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Justice, Galyan highly praised the bilateral meeting, which provides an excellent opportunity to discuss current areas of cooperation between the two agencies and prospects for its further development.
Konstantin Chuychenko emphasized cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia and proposed expanding the bilateral treaty framework.
During the meeting, the parties also emphasized the importance of developing cooperation in the field of legal assistance, noting that this is one of the key areas for strengthening bilateral relations and ensuring effective interaction between the competent authorities. Srbuhi Galyan addressed the need to further improve mechanisms for executing mutual legal assistance requests, emphasizing the importance of continuously developing practical cooperation in this area.
The parties also discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in the field of probation, emphasizing the importance of exchanging experiences and implementing effective solutions in this area.
Srbuhi Galyan invited the Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation to participate in the 20th session of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the CIS member states, which will be held in Yerevan in November of this year.
This event provides an important platform for discussing current issues of legal cooperation, exchanging professional experience, and developing joint approaches in priority areas of cooperation.
