Base salary of teachers who successfully pass second stage of  voluntary certification to be raised 

ArmInfo.  The base salary of teachers who successfully pass the second stage of voluntary certification will be increased to 300,000 drams. This was announced by Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia  Zhanna Andreasyan during a visit to the State Institute of Physical  Education and Sports of Armenia to inspect the results of renovation  work.

She also announced that bonuses of 30%, 40%, and 50% will be  calculated based on this rate, which will contribute to improving the  teacher compensation system.

During discussions with the institute's rector, Tigran Simonyan, the  issue of training specialists in physical education and sports was  also discussed. Particular attention was paid to filling vacancies  for physical education teachers in schools with qualified personnel.

Accompanied by the rector, the minister toured the wrestling, judo,  weightlifting, and artistic gymnastics halls, the institute's  shooting range, the volleyball court, and the Sport Lab research  center at the institute, which conducts research in sports  physiology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation science.

The parties expressed their willingness to cooperate in creating the  necessary conditions, developing the material and technical  infrastructure, and training specialists.
