ArmInfo. On June 23, RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan held a working meeting with the participation of ministry and Unified Social Service staff.
According to the ministry's press service, during the meeting, Arsen Torosyan discussed the semi-annual priorities of the labor and social protection sector, assessed the progress of ongoing work, and outlined upcoming tasks. The minister emphasized the importance of effectively implementing the digitalization of social services, noting the need to introduce simpler mechanisms for receiving, processing, and servicing citizen applications. In this context, the use of the innovative "Spark.work" platform, implemented at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, and the work to expand its functions were also presented.
During the meeting, the minister also spoke about the initiative to rename the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to the Ministry of Labor and Welfare. Changes to the functions of the Unified Social Service will also be made in the future.
