


ArmInfo.On June 22, within the working visit to Paris, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan had a meeting with Eleonore Caroit, Minister Delegate of France for Francophonie, International Partnerships and French Nationals Abroad.
The interlocutors commended the close cooperation established between Armenia and France within the framework of international organizations and multilateral platforms. The prospects of deepening collaboration on issues of mutual interest were discussed.
The Deputy Foreign Minister briefed his counterpart on the process of preparatory work in the lead-up to the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, to be hosted by Armenia in 2026 and the upcoming Francophonie Games in 2027. The importance of ensuring high-level participation in the Leaders' Summit preceding the COP17 was emphasized.
During the meeting, Robert Abisoghomonyan and Eleonore Caroit discussed the steps aimed at developing the current Armenia-France strategic partnership. The cooperation programs in key sectors were touched upon.
