


ArmInfo. The passenger plane en route from Gyumri to Moscow that raised a distress signal has landed in Makhachkala. This was reported by Pobeda Airlines, the airline operating the flight, according to TASS.
Earlier, according to Flightradar, the Boeing plane, which departed Gyumri at 12:35 PM local time, just under an hour into the flight, raised a distress signal over Dagestan and descended to an altitude of 3,000 meters. It was later reported that it had been diverted to Makhachkala Airport. The same source also reported that the plane was scheduled to arrive in Moscow at 3:25 PM Moscow time. The reasons for the emergency landing have not yet been released.
