
ArmInfo.The 23rd Yerevan International Film Festival "Golden Apricot" has announced the full jury for its International Competition.
The jury will be chaired by Jessica Hausner, one of the leading figures in contemporary Austrian cinema.
Her films have premiered at the Cannes and Venice Film Festivals, and she has received wide recognition for her innovative approach to genre cinema.
Mark Cousins is an Irish-Scottish film historian and director. His internationally acclaimed documentary series "History of Film: An Odyssey" has become a seminal work in modern film criticism. He is the author of numerous books and documentaries.
Nahuel Perez Biscayart is an Argentine actor best known for his leading role in French director Robin Campillo's 2017 film 120 Beats Per Minute, for which he won the Cesar and Lumiere awards.
Mark Peranson is a Canadian writer, producer, and longtime film festival curator. He served as program director at the Berlin International Film Festival and the Locarno International Film Festival. His articles on film have appeared in prestigious publications such as Sight and Sound, Film Comment, Cahiers du Cinema, and other specialized journals.
Shermin Langhoff is a German-Turkish theater producer who has served as artistic director of the Maxim Gorky Theater in Berlin since 2013. Under her leadership, the theater was twice named Theater of the Year in Germany and has received numerous awards.
As a reminder, the 23rd Golden Apricot International Film Festival will be held in Yerevan from July 12 to 19, 2026. This year, the festival will once again feature competition and non-competition programs featuring films from around the world, as well as films screened at prestigious international film festivals, including the Cannes Film Festival, the Berlinale, and others.
During the festival, world-renowned filmmakers-directors, actors, and industry specialists-will arrive in Armenia to share their experience and creativity with Armenian audiences.
The Moscow and Nairi Cinemas, as well as the Cinema House, will serve as screening venues.
