Dashnaktsakan: Ruslan Barseghyan arrested for two months on false and  fabricated charges

ArmInfo.  Ruslan Barseghyan, a representative of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun regional committee in Aragatsotn and a member of the "Armenia" bloc, has been arrested for  two months by a court decision on false and fabricated charges. This  was reported by Gerasim Vardanyan, a member of the ARF Supreme Body.

"Obviously, this is yet another manifestation of the  criminal-political terror that reigns in our country, and, naturally,  it is directed against people with national identity and principles.  These days, imprisonment has become not a crime, but a badge of honor  and integrity. I see no point in calling on Dashnaktsutyun members to  remain strong and steadfast in prison or on the battlefield, because  that is the nature and character of our friends. We simply need to  remember that all this will pass one day, and nothing will be  forgotten," Vardanyan wrote on his Facebook page.

Today, it was also announced that Asatur Kocharyan, a fellow member  of the Armenia bloc of second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan,  has been placed under house arrest. Investigators are accusing them  of voter bribery.
