


ArmInfo. Advisor to the Cultural Center of the Iranian Embassy in Armenia Mohammad Asadi Movahed and Acting Rector of the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) Lilit Mkrtchyan discussed prospects for expanding educational cooperation between the countries.
According to the press service of the Cultural Center of the Iranian Embassy in Armenia, the meeting focused on developing Persian language teaching methodology and implementing joint scientific and educational programs. Mkrtchyan assured that the university is ready to contribute to the development of Persian language teaching methodology in Armenia and the expansion of international cooperation.
Asadi Movahed described the start of cooperation with the university as an important step and emphasized its broad prospects. He noted that approximately 4,500 students in Armenia are currently studying Persian, but one of the main challenges in this field is the limited number of specialists and teachers teaching it.
The Cultural Center Advisor emphasized the importance of the Pedagogical University's professional potential and proposed developing Persian language teaching methodology by utilizing the university's research and teaching resources. In this regard, he stated that the Iranian side is ready to invite visiting faculty and organize professional development programs.
At the end of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening educational and cultural cooperation, emphasizing the importance of implementing joint projects and exchanging experiences.
