


ArmInfo.On June 17, at approximately 9:30 AM, Armenian rescuers discovered the body of 7-year-old Nare Martirosyan in the Pambak River in the Lori Region. She had been missing since June 15.
According to the press service of the MVD Rescue Service (MVD SS), the body was found in the Pambak River, approximately 500 meters from the presumed scene. The search for her 13-year-old sister continues.
The agency recalled that the girls went missing on June 15. Then, at 5:05 PM, the Lori Regional Operations Center received a call stating that they had left Grigor Narekatsi Street in Vanadzor and had not reached their intended destination.
According to the source, the search and rescue operations on site are being coordinated by Aram Ghazaryan, Director of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Rescue Service and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs. Rescuers, police officers, volunteers, divers, drones, boats, and other technical means are involved in the search.
According to reports from the scene, the girls attempted to cross the river using an overhanging pipe, but the 7-year-old girl slipped and fell into the river. Her older sister tried to help her and fell into the water after her. A criminal case has been opened regarding the incident.
