


ArmInfo. The situation in the South Caucasus and the Baku -Yerevan peace process were on the agenda of the talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Moscow. Fidan announced this at a press conference following the Moscow talks.
"We discussed in detail the situation in the South Caucasus and the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This is a very important aspect for ensuring peace in the region," Fidan said at a press conference following the talks, according to Russian media.
Meanwhile, according to a press release from the Russian Foreign Ministry, Lavrov, opening talks with Fidan in Moscow, stated that in addition to their intensive bilateral relations, Moscow and Ankara have a broad, comprehensive agenda on regional and international issues, including the Middle East, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.
"Today, I expect to discuss key bilateral issues in line with the agreements and understandings reached by our presidents, as well as the international and regional agenda, including the consultations that are regularly held between our ministries," Lavrov noted.
