Anti-Corruption Committee: Opposition party reps detained in Lori  over bribery of voters

ArmInfo.  The Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia reported the detention of representatives of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) for distributing election bribes in Lori.

The agency's press service reported that, as a result of  investigations conducted by the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia,  evidence was obtained indicating that representatives of the  Prosperous Armenia Party provided bribes to voters in the Akhtala  community of the Lori region and several nearby settlements for  voting for the party in the National Assembly elections, as well as  for recruiting supporters.

The Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia has opened a criminal  investigation into this incident. As a result, several people were  detained and the necessary procedural actions are being carried out.
