ArmInfo. Opposition forces that have entered the National Assembly must discuss the situation with each other as soon as possible, coordinate their actions, and make a decision, preventing the authorities from taking the initiative. This is what Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the National Assembly from the opposition "I Have the Honor" faction, writes.
According to him, during the post-election period, the authorities have mobilized all their resources to focus the public and political debate on the question of whether the opposition should take mandates or not. "No one disputes that this topic is being actively discussed and is of great importance, especially within the opposition community. However, the authorities are trying to 'add fuel to the fire' to hush it up, downplaying the misuse of administrative resources during the pre-election period, the illegal arrests, and the disgraceful elections. Understanding that the mandate issue could spark a wave of polarization and further disillusionment among the opposition, the government is fueling this issue from the outside," noted Tigran Abrahamyan.
He called on the opposition forces that have entered the National Assembly to discuss the situation with each other as soon as possible, coordinate their actions, and make a decision, preventing the authorities from taking the initiative.
