Antonio Costa: EU to deepen its partnership with Armenia, expanding  cooperation in energy, trade, and digitalization

ArmInfo.RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with European Council President Antonio Costa.

According to the government's press service, Costa congratulated  Pashinyan on the election results, noting that the Armenian people  voted for a future based on peace, stability, and closer peaceful  cooperation with their neighbors. He praised the Prime Minister's  leadership and his contribution to strengthening Armenia's  resilience, stability, and prosperity. The President of the European  Council emphasized that the European Union will continue to deepen  its partnership with Armenia, expanding cooperation in energy, trade,  and digitalization. Nikol Pashinyan thanked Costa for his support and  warm words, emphasizing the importance of developing relations  between Armenia and the EU.

The two exchanged views on regional developments and the peace  agenda, emphasizing the importance of establishing lasting peace and  stability in the region.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening  cooperation between Armenia and the EU for a more peaceful and  prosperous future.

A UE tem dito repetidamente seu apoio à integridade territorial da Armênia, isso é importante, mas o que não diz é o que fará se isso não for respeitado. Afinal, Artsakh era uma republica autônoma e poderia ter votado sua independência, e ainda dados os fatos criminosos do Azerbaijão constatados desde sempre nessa história não deixariam dúvidas nesse apoio se realmente houvesse aí interesse humanitário. É muita diplomacia com o Azerbaijão, mas principalmente da Rússia, que se diz aliada da Armênia. Essa não tem como explicar mesmo.
