


ArmInfo. The "Strong Armenia" bloc will issue a more detailed statement after the actual counting and reporting is complete. Narek Karapetyan, a member of the "Strong Armenia" party, announced this in a video address.
He also expressed gratitude to all those citizens who voted for "Strong Armenia," as well as to his allies, who, he said, were illegally detained for the sole purpose of enabling the ruling Civil Contract party to implement its plans during the election process.
It should be noted that, according to the voting results presented by the Central Election Commission, Samvel Karapetyan's "Strong Armenia" bloc received 23.29%, or 340,062 votes.
Nikol Pashinyan's ruling Civil Contract party received 49.81% or 727,160 votes, second president Robert Kocharyan's Armenia bloc received 9.94% or 145,097 votes, and businessman Gagik Tsarukyan's Prosperous Armenia party received 4% or 58,368 votes.
The remaining candidates scored below the required threshold of 4% for parties and 8-10% for blocs. Turnout in the election was 58.97%.
