ArmInfo. Since this morning, Armenian law enforcement officers have been detaining and arresting members of the "Armenia" alliance's campaign headquarters.
As reported by the political force's press service, the law enforcement system has essentially been engaged since morning in actions aimed at obstructing the electoral process. "Members of the 'Armenia' alliance's campaign headquarters are being unlawfully detained and arrested for various reasons, including under the pretext of questioning them as witnesses. This shameful and unlawful behavior is not only an attempt to subject the public to informational terror, but also a gross violation of voting rights," the political force stated.
The "Armenia" alliance demanded that observation missions and the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) officially record this fact. "We also urge voters not to succumb to these illegal actions and to confidently exercise their constitutional right. Those organizing and carrying out these violations will face the strictest accountability established by law," the political force concluded.
