


ArmInfo. A delegation from the observation mission of the International Organization of La Francophonie (IOF), led by head of delegation Philippe Courard, visited the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia on June 4.
According to the CEC press service, the delegation was received by CEC Chairman Vahagn Hovakimyan, who welcomed the guests and outlined the electoral system's ongoing preparations ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Recall, the parliamentary elections in Armenia are scheduled to take place on June 7, 2026. A total of 18 political forces—comprising 2 alliances and 16 parties—are participating in the elections. The number of eligible voters stands at 2,485,232 citizens.
