Lawyer: After long and arduous struggle, Karen and Karush Oveyan  acquitted

ArmInfo.After a long and arduous struggle, Karen and Karush Oveyan have finally been acquitted, even during the preliminary investigation. This was  announced by lawyer Arsen Babayan.

According to him, although the brothers spent two months in prison,  the Shirak Regional Prosecutor's Office accepted our argument from  the very beginning that they had not committed any crime.

The lawyer recalled that the brothers were arrested on October 20,  2025, the same day Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan was arrested, on  charges of participating in mass riots and interfering with a  criminal investigation.

"Thus, it was confirmed that Karen and Karush did not commit any  crime," the lawyer noted.
