ArmInfo. The "Menk" concert featuring Artsakh cultural groups will take place at the Gyumri Sports and Cultural Center on May 31 at 6:00 PM.
As Artsakh Ombudsman Gegham Stepanyan informed on his Facebook page, the event will bring together Artsakh performers and guest ensembles on a single stage to showcase the living spirit of Artsakh's cultural heritage. "The concert program features performances of beloved and well-known pieces, national dances, live music, and the very cultural values that continue to endure and be passed down from generation to generation, despite all hardships. Admission is free for all," Stepanyan shared.
The project is an initiative of the Refugee Community Councils of Yerevan and Gyumri, in collaboration with the "Artsakh Culture Preservation Center" NGO. It is organized as part of the EU-funded program "Human Rights for and with Refugees." The "Human Rights for and with Refugees" initiative is implemented with the support of the European Union, the Democracy Development Foundation, the Estonian Refugee Council, the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Women, and Commit Global. The program aims to improve access to essential services, strengthens youth capacities, and trains refugees in advocacy.
