Narek Karapetyan assures he has never held citizenship of any other  state besides Armenia

ArmInfo.Narek Karapetyan, a board member of the "Strong Armenia" party, assures that, besides Armenian citizenship, he has never held citizenship of any other state.

"I bet: I've never had citizenship of any other country," Karapetyan  told reporters in the Ajapnyak district of Yerevan in response to the  Investigative Committee's announcement. He simultaneously questioned  whether the Investigative Committee's employees are ready to resign  if the information disseminated turns out to be false.

According to him, his legal team has already contacted the Russian  Embassy regarding this matter, and lawsuits will be filed against the  Civil Contract party's representatives. Karapetyan also stated that  if the Investigative Committee doesn't publish a retraction by this   evening, they will take legal action against the agency.

Karapetyan noted that while he is the owner of a number of companies  in foreign countries, he has always been a citizen of the Republic of  Armenia.
