ArmInfo. The "Strong Armenia" party intends to file lawsuits against all members of the ruling "Civil Contract" party who spread disinformation about members of their political party, as announced by Marianna Ghahramanyan, press secretary of the "Strong Armenia" party.
According to her, the disinformation in question concerns Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, and Narek Karapetyan, a board member of the party. "A warning to members of a small group who daily spread lies, fabrications, and disinformation about "Strong Armenia" bloc leader Samvel Karapetyan and party board member Narek Karapetyan. Yesterday, you spoke out in full force, spreading your nonsense. Now, let's make another election proposal public. So, starting today, lawsuits will be filed against all members of the ruling Civil Contract party who have spread disinformation," Ghahramanyan wrote on her Facebook page.
She also emphasized that the money the ruling party members will have to pay for the lies they spread will be donated to the Sevan Mental Health Center for facility renovations. "In "Strong Armenia", people with mental disabilities and those who grab women (the Prime Minister grabbed a woman by the arm and pulled her back into the crowd during the election campaign - ed.) will receive quality treatment and free medication throughout the day, rather than holding public office. Our legal team is already preparing the lawsuits. Dear members of "Civil Contract", don't worry, this money won't go to waste," the party's press secretary concluded.
Recall, the Latvian Insider previously reported that "Strong Armenia" party leader Samvel Karapetyan is an agent of the Russian FSB, and that Narek Karapetyan holds Russian citizenship. While both figures have denied these claims, the government's propaganda machine continues to push the story. Furthermore, the Investigative Committee of Armenia has initiated a criminal investigation into the alleged concealment of dual citizenship by Narek Karapetyan. In addition, the Central Election Commission of Armenia stated that they had checked Narek Karapetyan's information and that he does not hold a second citizenship.
