


ArmInfo. A Moscow delegation, led by Georgy Yakovlev, Head of the Department for Work with Compatriots Abroad, visited Gyumri on May 14.
According to the press service of the Russian Embassy in Armenia, during the visit, the delegation members met with Consul General Igor Titov, laid flowers at the monument to the victims of the 1988 earthquake, and visited the 102nd Russian Military Base, where, after a conversation with Acting Base Commander M.N. Kulakov, the guests were shown the Military History Museum and the Church of the Holy Martyr Queen Alexandra.
Following the meetings, potential areas of cooperation with the city of Gyumri were identified. The delegation was accompanied by the director of the House of Moscow in Yerevan, Hayk Melikyan.
