


ArmInfo. Representatives of the Kansas Army National Guard joined Armenian peacekeeping forces for a bilateral engagement focused on operational planning, leadership development, and peacekeeping readiness.
As reported by the press service of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia, The training supported the continued development of the 2nd Battalion of the Armenian Peacekeeping Brigade as part of its ongoing professionalization and preparation for international peacekeeping missions. Kansas National Guard personnel shared best practices on military planning processes, coordination at different command levels, and medical planning standards relevant to peacekeeping operations.
"The engagement highlighted the long-standing partnership between Kansas and Armenia under the State Partnership Program, established in 2003, and reinforced continued cooperation in the areas of training, preparedness, and professional military development" the Embassy added.
