ArmInfo.During a campaign meeting with residents of the Noyemberyan community in the Tavush region, Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, declared that citizens must make a definitive choice and put an end to what is happening in the country today.
The party leader believes that Armenia's current situation is the result of poor governance. "People with no past or experience are getting positions today. This is the main issue. However, there are no unsolvable issues," Tsarukyan asserted.
According to him, Armenian citizens are currently trapped in debt, but no one is addressing this issue. "The state must think about this and make the right decisions. It must provide citizens with jobs and forgive their loans. There are approximately 650,000 families in Armenia and 2,450,000 borrowers. The state itself has a debt of $15 billion—that's the real state of our country," the party leader emphasized. Tsarukyan criticized the current social climate, suggesting that Armenia has been turned into a "country of prisoners," with many citizens under house arrest. He emphasized that his party possesses the desire, the resources, and a professional team capable of resolving these crises. "For us, party affiliation will not matter; we will focus solely on an individual's character, experience, and proven results," the party leader assured.
Tsarukyan expressed confidence that only through professional management can Armenia regain international respect and restore its former strength. He also called for a strategic approach to engaging the Armenian Diaspora " We need to find the right approach to communicating with them – invite them to the country, hold discussions, and use these opportunities to develop our country," Tsarukyan concluded.
