ArmInfo.Just three or four days into the campaign, it is becoming clear that the authorities are moving toward election fraud. Vahe Hovhannisyan, a member of the "Alternative Projects" group, writes in his latest article, citing statements by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who repeatedly links local political forces to foreign powers.
"What do Putin, Lukashenko, and others have to do with this? He clearly sees that since the start of the campaign, he has been losing in every city and settlement. In light of this, he is resorting to election falsification. Neither the West, North, nor South have any connection to these elections," Hovhannisyan noted.
"These elections answer only one question: Are we choosing Armenia or 'Western Azerbaijan'? Are we choosing the chance to live in Armenia, or will we repeat the fate of the people of Artsakh? Since he has decided to sabotage policy debates, we must use every means to speak with our people and explain this simple truth. The opposition must remain vigilant and quickly identify which scenario he will use to disrupt the normal course of the elections the 'Moldovan' scenario, the 'Romanian' scenario, or the 'Nikol' scenario," the analyst stated.
As a reminder, parliamentary elections will be held in Armenia on June 7. Nineteen political forces 17 parties and 2 blocs have registered to participate.
